You will find lots of really useful teaching resources on the Siemens website. It would be worth taking a look at what is on offer here before you plan your next topic.
Take a look in the KS2 section and you will find schemes of work such as THE HUMAN BODY, LIGHT and ELECTRICITY. Each topic includes detailed lesson plans and worksheets. There are some good secondary units on renewable energy and environmental issues.
