Lots of teachers in the UK are familiar with The Literacy Shed. It contains fantastic planning ideas based on short animations or films.
WARNING: this website can really engage your class and produce some seriously good work.
There are a range of 'sheds' available. Whether you choose THE ADVENTURE SHED, THE GHOSTLY SHED or even the THE FANTASY SHED - you are guaranteed to find some ideas that you simply won't be able to wait to use with your class.
Now I know it's barely the middle of November, but (for those who like to plan ahead) THE CHRISTMAS SHED is really worth a look. It includes some fantastic animations and highly acclaimed adverts from retailers such as Sainsburys, Marks & Spencer and John Lewis. You might want to take a look at their adverts this year.
